RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for someone who is passionate about research, has a deep love for numbers, consumer segments, data and analytics (and finding the hidden clues amongst them), to join our team as a Customer Insights Manager, within the Customer & Marketing arm of FairPrice Group.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to interact with various businesses across different functions within FairPrice Group such as Retail, Food Services, Online Business and Loyalty and Rewards, to represent the customer's voice across the organization.
You understand consumers, have analytics horsepower and business judgment to identify opportunities and have the experience of turning customer feedback into action plans or strategic recommendations. This would include equipping the various businesses with relevant insights that will help them plan and prioritize key marketing, branding and service enhancement initiatives.
Reporting to the Customer Insights Lead, you must have the ability to engage with businesses, ask the right questions in order to understand the key objectives for the research, identify / recommend the right approach, source and analyse data and information from available resources, joining the dots and drawing conclusions from them to inform key business decisions.
You will be expected to:

  1. Engage stakeholders for all their research and consumer insight needs (either through the primary research or using existing data/insights that we have about our customers)
  2. Plan, recommend, and execute these research initiatives within a reasonable budget and timeline.
  3. Work with various external agencies and have the ability to distil the story or insights from the findings, and present this to the stakeholders.
  4. Work with various analytics teams within FairPrice Group, to piece together CRM and transaction data on our customers and segments and primary research findings when applicable.
  5. Utilize Nielsen and Homescan data when applicable to build a cohesive story together with research findings, share these with the business.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in market research, consumer insights, analytics, preferably in the retail industry (knowledge of Homescan data or Retail data is an advantage)
