Future Opportunities - Remote M365 Azure Subject Matter Expert ''IAM & Intune experienced''- BC

Global Enterprise client is in search of a Microsoft Office 365 Azure Administrator and subject matter expert to provide support services with a strong Microsoft 365 and Azure background. The freelancer will also act as Tier 2 Technical Support to serve as an escalation point utilizing a deeper level of knowledge to resolve customer support requests. This includes monitoring for tickets, coordinating escalations, making assessments on ticket resolution quality and providing and implementing a solution for improvement. Additional tasks in support of the project growth may be requested ad hoc, such as: upgrading tech screens to stay current with new releases, onboarding new SMEs into applicable tools, & performing screens for potential new hires according to tool specialty.

Freelancer must have Windows 10 Pro (with the latest updates installed) on their device, excellent English speaking and writing skills and must be available immediately.

Deliverables will be solutions to IT tickets, which come in through emails, chat, phone calls and formal requests, and are measured on a weekly cadence. The IT ticket needs will vary depending upon the request; they typically include questions surrounding the admin’s knowledge of managing Azure identities and access, protecting identities, implementing and managing storage, compute, and virtual networks.

Freelancer should be able to execute with a high degree of success in integration and/or solving problems through critical thinking and must possess the below expertise
Azure identity and access management experience is a must (at least 2+ years)
Intune 1-2 years relevant experience is a must
Managing Azure storage, compute, and virtual networks
Strong experience and troubleshooting technical issues related to Microsoft Azure
Managing Azure identities, identities protection and governance
Managing Azure storage, VMs and network
Ability to build competency in team to deliver customer requirements
Passion for Microsoft technologies
Must be able to work within North American standard business hours

Any of the following certifications can be considered a plus, but not required (Please note certifications need to be related to Azure IAM and security and not other MSFT or O365 stacks or other networking vendor certificates):
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

Computer that is not joined to another company’s domain, neither managed by any remote management – inventory systems or tools
Windows 10 Pro (latest updates installed)
Minimum of 8 GB Ram (16 is recommended)
Core i3 processor (i5 is recommended)
Minimum of 256GB Hard disk (256 SSD is recommended)
LAN (local access network) required
For security requirements, freelancers will not connect to the provided systems and tools using WiFi.
A minimum of 25 Mbps Internet connection with equal download & upload speed (20 Mbps is recommended)
No 3rd-party antivirus software installed
Microphone/headset with background noise cancelling (not a phone headset)
Webcam, preferably compatible with Windows Hello Technology
