Our team focuses on commercial management, client support, advisory solutions, strategic planning, risk management, people security, real estate strategy and the enablement of collaboration and productivity tools across the firm.

How We’re Organized

Workplace Experience - Encompasses the comprehensive onsite workplace experience, how people interact with the workplace, on and off-site events and our overall location strategy. Departments include Events, Real Estate Streategy, Real Estate Development and On-Site Solutions, which is comprised of Document Management, Facilities, Ground Transportation and Hospitality.

Spend Management – Encompasses the functions responsible for managing all aspects of the firm’s spend with third parties – advising commercial agreements, managing third party and payment risk and driving operating efficiency. Departments include Product Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Third Party Governance, Procure to Pay, Integrated Travel and Expense and Infrastructure & Transformation.

CWS Engineering - Aligns several engineering functions on collaboration and productivity tools. Departments include Digital Workplace, Client & Production Engineering, Corporate Engineering, Windows Engineering, Spend, Data & Automation and Product Success & Delivery Engineering.

Office of Global Security – Protects the people and assets of Goldman Sachs to ensure a safe and secure environment. Assesses risk to enable the delivery of effective security, fire and life safety protocols and leads crisis management preparation, implementation and recovery processes. Includes Physical Security & Investigations, Executive Protection, Fire Safety and Crisis Management.

Divisional Management (COO) - Aligns division-wide functions to drive strategic cohesiveness, consistency and efficiency. Departments include Business Unit Management, Communications and User Engagement, Risk and Environmental, Social & Governance.

OUR IMPACT

Reporting to the Regional General Manager, this role will manage the APAC travel and expense program, and will be responsible for driving commercial effectiveness within this region. This individual will own the relationships with the key client groups and merge business requirements with strategive objectives.

  • Analysis of regional client needs and spend against forecast
  • Feed new requirements to global leads to ensure dynamic policy and service management

  • Develop Regional Relationships with key vendors and continually move towards commercial objectives
  • Regional performance management of vendors in line with global strategic and financial objectives
  • Long term relationship management and education to meet continually improve service and commercial success
  • Develop regional reporting in line with global lead requirements, commercial objectives and Firm’s financial guidelines
  • Support Global Travel & Expense Manager and Regional General Manager in client consultation and global policy implementation and direction
  • Engage with stakeholders of the Concur expense management platform and drive increased utilization of the tool and manage to metrics
  • Proactively manage client communication at senior regional divisional level and create regional cross divisional forums to communicate global policy, savings opportunities and spend analysis in line with commercial objectives
  • Work with Global Travel & Expense Operations leads to identify and rapidly meet emerging market service requirements
  • Ensure policy compliance using T&E system audit tools; general system oversight and coordination with Concur & travel management provider.
  • Proactively liaise with Finance, Procurement and Market Development teams to advance commercial objectives
  • Proactively develop corporate social responsibility in the travel arena and liaise with procurement to develop local sourcing opportunities in line with commercial objectives
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years experience in travel and expense management in a fast-paced corporate organization or within a travel agency or corporate card environment.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and seek dynamic commercial solutions
  • Personal integrity, initiative, leadership qualities and the ability to work as part of a team in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy
  • Ability to develop credibility with clients at all levels within the Firm and with a diverse vendor population
