Job Position: Accounting Manager (Finance)
The Accounting Manager will use a hands-on team approach to directly
manage the accounting team, which includes the month-end close
process, accounts payable, accounts receivable, capital management,
audits, taxes including GST and monthly balance sheet analysis. The
Accounting Manager will also implement and maintain policies and
procedures to make the close and reporting process, and internal
controls more efficient while mitigating risk and enhancing the
accuracy of the company's financial results in compliance with GAAP.
Primary Job Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of 6 accounting staff
Professional development and mentoring of accounting staff to maximize full potential
Hands-on approach to manage and oversee the daily operation of
accounting function
Month End - Manage the close process, review balance sheet and variance analysis reports and commentaries in accordance with US GAAP and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
Review monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
Oversee and manage Accounts payables, Accounts receivables transactions and capital expenses including outsourced service provider, Genpact
Responsible for full set of accounts and financial statements
Review monthly, quarterly, yearly financial reports to HQ
Manage IRAS queries and review GST reporting and IRAS filing
Leader in audits including SOX, internal and external audits
