Job Position: Behavioral Therapist (Part Time Position)
Looking for creative, fun, and passionate individuals with 2 or more years of experience in ABA Therapy, or with working with children with special needs such as Autism and Global Developmental Delay. We are looking for Therapists to work on a contract/freelance basis with a flexible schedule.
Work Experience/Requirements:
RBT qualification or BCBA/BCABA is preferred, but those without these qualifications may apply as well (training will be provided).
Experience in working with children with special needs in either a school setting or a private setting.
Knowledge of the basic principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Knowledge in Speech & Language concepts, teaching occupational skills, and teaching academic concepts.
Proficiency in English with good interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
Creativity in preparing learning materials/tasks and goals for sessions.
Patience and ability to work and interact well with children with special needs.
Responsibilities:
Conduct 1-1 home-based session.
Conduct Behavior and initial assessments.
Write session notes, session goals, and IEP’s.
Come up with goals/tasks to work on with the child based on their skill level.
Be creative in implementing new tasks based on the child’s preference and motivation.
Write monthly reports on the child’s progress and acquired skills.
Provide updates/strategies to the child's parents after each session.
