YOUR IMPACT
A successful candidate would be leading the technical interactions between CoE and engineering teams to facilitate scalable, governed, low code in production. They will utilize their skills in delivery, machine learning, robotics, statistics, data science, process re-engineering, and programming to help solve impactful business questions. The role would include managing and collaborating with other groups and divisions regionally and globally working cross-function and cross-business.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY
This role provides a unique opportunity to drive and implement change by acting as a hybrid role between low code and high code, between Ops and Engineering and between delivery and change management. The impact and change they will help facilitate will be for the Singapore Centre of Excellence (CoE), a team that will have a significant impact on the operating model for Global Operations. Through this, the role will provide exposure to senior stakeholders, offering excellent opportunities for career development.
JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare to gain a comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle by interacting with the business, middle office, and engineering teams in order to work toward a shared goal
- Leverage your innovative skills to identify ways to continually improve current processes
- Collaborate closely between Ops CoE and; CoE Engineering / Core Engineering / BU Engineering to facilitate and enable low code tool’s release in to production
- To be strong in high-code and have an awareness of the low-code market (70/30) to be able to distinguish the BoW for Ops and Engg
- A strong background on data architecture will help the team quickly identify and address data chokepoints pre-development
- Enable strong governance and SDLC for low code including enabling use in wider teams Eg Python versioning issues on Alteryx server or RPA enablement in private side
- Execution and delivery focused. System account creation / Maintenance / Unix/p2 accounts / Enable BI environment & Infrastructure / Sandbox new tools
- Database / Data experience - API/Refiner/RPA Optimus permissions
- Joint tool incubation and business product owner with Engineering (Eg, Instabase / Xceptor) – Functionalities, roadmap, training needs, vendor interaction
- Mitigate risk for the firm and our clients by securely delivering data to stakeholders
- Partner with engineering teams to develop scalable business processes to support our clients
- Work with senior level stakeholders to drive the organizational agenda, set strategy and provide direction to the team for delivery
- Design, develop and test BI/Automation use-cases using tools and techniques such as Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Data Warehouse, E-task etc
- Provide support for priority BU strategic initiatives, including analysis, business requirements, stakeholder management and communications
- Support all phases of major initiative development from concept through tangible deliverables
- Interact comfortably with stakeholders and other constituents at all levels in Operations and Engineering

- Daily Use of various Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Alteryx, MS-BI Stack, Qlik, Elastic Search, etc)
- Regular use of various Business Intelligence standard languages (SQL, R, C#, Java, Python, VBA, etc)
- Exhibit ability to multi-task and prioritize to deliver accurate and timely work in a time pressured environment
- Conduct process deep-dives to determine feasibility for optimization and automation
- Identify process automation opportunities and determine if solutions should be low-code or traditional coding
- Scope project requirements based on application integration and communicate effectively across teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Graduate or Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or Engineering
- Analytical, self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills able to project manage on technical and functional delivery
- Experience exploring Business Intelligence Database Infrastructure - Strong knowledge of database structure systems and how they form the overall organizational data architecture (SQL Server, MongoDB, Data Lake)
- Experience in any of Business Objects and Data Visualization such as Tableau
- Development skills with one or more OOP Languages (C, C#, C++, Java) – Object-Oriented Programming is a pragmatic approach to programming which indicates understanding of fundamental computing concepts
- Web App Development (HTML, JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, etc)
- Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, IBM Db2, MongoDB, ElasticSearch) – To be able to formulate correct queries for the firm’s databases and build refiners if required
- Experience with using multi-dimensional data modeling/data warehousing for data analytics and reporting
- Experience in prescriptive analytics, using tools such as Alteryx
- Strong knowledge in Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) market for process automation
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM project methodology for enterprise-level projects
