Front-End Engineer

The Front-End Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and coding of the web applications. You will be accountable for the content updates and new site enhancements of all the developed web apps.

Responsibilities

• Apply web development methodologies and programming standards to ensure efficient program logic, data manipulation, and information presentation
• Design, code, test, debug and document web app
• Ensure security feature is included in the web app
• Work with cross functional teams to develop web app and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure timely release of project/initiatives
• Analyze, diagnose and resolve errors related to the web app
• Provide ad hoc reporting and impact analysis as required
• Investigate operational or systematic problems and user queries as required
• Improve user experience and meet performance requirements through technical means
• Take initiative to propose enhancements/features
• Strong ability to effectively work with a team of developers.
• Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for technical and business suitability

Requirements

• At least 2 year of experience in web app development
• Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs and JSON
• Experience in HTML and CSS
• Experience in mobile friendly web development
• Experience on one of the JS development such as React JS etc
• Experience with one of the UI framework such as Material UI
• Excellent working attitude, problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge on other server programming language such as Java, Python or PHP
