Apply for this job Manage CBREs Supply Chain and Logistics Services efforts and primarily focus on supporting client pursuits and conducting business case rationalization, network analysis, research, modeling, solution development, presentation creation, and help deliver exceptional client outcomes. Key responsibilities include sales and sales support, delivery, training and development, marketing and thought leadership. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Market Facing Activities / Business Development:
Supports occupier leaders, local market area (LMA) leaders (i.e., management focused accounts, one-off and/or geographic based pursuits) and Brokers to qualify, target and pursue prospects by leveraging supply chain subject matter expertise
Participates in the creation of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials with the pursuit team and CBREs national/local marketing professionals
Participates in client meetings / presentations and support presentation preparation sessions
Leads supply chain and logistics services pursuits
Leads / oversees pricing and contract negotiations for Supply Chain and Logistics Services proposals
Participates in post-mortems to identify critical success factors in pursuits and use data to consistently strengthen and improve pursuit strategies
Identifies and communicates supply chain and logistics trends, opportunities and competitive threats.
Creates thought leadership, white papers, point-of-view sales collateral to educate sales leaders, participates in speaking engagements, etc.
Supply Chain and Logistics Services:
Identifies and creates opportunity sourcing decision process (i.e., triggers / criteria to determine when CBRE team delivers work
Designs and delivers successful consulting engagements, managing multiple engagements at any given time
Leads and manages project teams and their activities
Develops and maintains positive client relationships while managing client expectations
Efficiently manages project requirements, resources, timelines and budgets
Communicates well: within the core sales/project team, with key stakeholders, and with senior supply chain and real estate executives
Delivers project results; plan and lead client presentations
Identifies and communicates issues that may impact project scope, schedule, budget or quality
Designs modeling approaches to answer strategic business questions
Uses supply chain knowledge to identify business improvement opportunities, frame issues, structure problems, and create solution approaches
Identifies and communicate ways to improve CBREs analysis tools and techniques
Instructs and mentor junior resources in techniques and methodology
Interacts with other consulting and advisory practices to continuously improve CBREs ability to deliver exceptional client outcomes
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Bachelors Degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university required. Masters degree (MA, MS or MBA) preferred
A minimum of ten (10) years experience in the supply chain industry, preferably working with quantitative tools and methodology in analyzing supply chain decisions (specific experience in consulting is preferred)
Experience launching, building and running a consulting organization
Demonstrates a track record of leading and delivering on supply chain projects including Supply Chain Design / Network Rationalization facility capacity analysis, operational assessments, third party decision support and business case development
Has strong understanding of the supply chain industry and impacts on commercial real estate decisions
Demonstrates knowledge/capabilities in the areas of financial analysis, business administration, legal, human resources, ethical practices, marketing, business development and consultative sales
Has superior and creative problem-solving skills with a strong working knowledge of data manipulation tools such as MS Access, Excel, Tableau and supply chain analytic tools such as Llamasofts Supply Chain Guru / LogicNet Plus, PC Miler, SMC3 Batch Rating, , etc.
Possesses excellent client communication and management skills and experience
