Be responsible for the technical management of a fleet of vessels
Plan, control and execute activities relating to operations, maintenance, repairs, survey and certificate requirements, drydocking, conversion , upgrading or modification of vessels
Formulate dynamic work plan and action list
Keep a strict cost control on vessels’ expenditures and take action needed to optimise costs to budget level
Monitor vessels’ performance trend and follow up with remedial actions
Visit assigned vessels at regular intervals and report matters on general condition, repairs and maintenance, crew performance, safety and environmental protection, work plan, running cost, spares and stores,
Requirements
Hold Marine Engineer Class 1 or Class 2 certificate of competency with 2 years of experience in similar capacity in the Maritime Industry
Previous seagoing experience as Chief Engineer onboard offshore vessel may also be considered
Good knowledge and experience with Power Management System, Planned Maintenance System and MS Office
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot marine technical issues with good budget control
Good team player, responsible, accountable and ability to work independently
A self-starter with good attitude and initiative
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Prepare to work long hours and travel at short notice
