• Be responsible for the technical management of a fleet of vessels
• Plan, control and execute activities relating to operations, maintenance, repairs, survey and certificate requirements, drydocking, conversion , upgrading or modification of vessels
• Formulate dynamic work plan and action list
• Keep a strict cost control on vessels’ expenditures and take action needed to optimise costs to budget level
• Monitor vessels’ performance trend and follow up with remedial actions
• Visit assigned vessels at regular intervals and report matters on general condition, repairs and maintenance, crew performance, safety and environmental protection, work plan, running cost, spares and stores,

Requirements

• Hold Marine Engineer Class 1 or Class 2 certificate of competency with 2 years of experience in similar capacity in the Maritime Industry
• Previous seagoing experience as Chief Engineer onboard offshore vessel may also be considered
• Good knowledge and experience with Power Management System, Planned Maintenance System and MS Office
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot marine technical issues with good budget control
• Good team player, responsible, accountable and ability to work independently
• A self-starter with good attitude and initiative
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prepare to work long hours and travel at short notice
