The End User Computing Technology Engineer III will be responsible for the design, integration, implementation, and operational support of VDI enterprise end user productivity systems and related applications.
We are looking for a high performing Technology Engineer to support the corporate VDI strategy for end user computing. You should have deep understanding of the virtual desktop and related infrastructure. As a member of the End User Computing Engineering team, you are instrumental in supporting solution development to improve end user productivity.

Responsibilities:
- Support technology strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives, identifying customer needs, articulate what success looks like, and turn into a reality
- Actively support assigned product portfolios ensuring alignment to established roadmaps
- Participate in the planning, execution, and operational support development to deliver expected business outcomes
- Proactively support and operate solutions and take measures to enhance processes and improve service delivery
- Participate in the developing, implementing, and ensuring adherence to policies, standards, procedures, methodologies
Ideal candidate should have:
- A strong service orientation with a can-do attitude, adaptive to change with a real passion for the End User Computing technology space
- Demonstrated systems engineering mindset with the ability to apply a systematic approach to problem solving, driven by data, and understanding tradeoffs
- Demonstrated experience in elements of rigor, design, operational oversight, and accountability for products owned and operated
- Demonstrated SME-level experience in the following virtual technologies:
- VMWare Horizon, VSphere, VCenter
- Linked Clones, Instant Clones, App Volumes
- DEM, PowerCLI, VROPS/Monitoring Tools
- Thin-Client Management, 3rd-Party Client Tools
- Demonstrated experience in the following technologies/skills:
- Building/Maintaining Enterprise-Level VDI Infrastructure and support base images
- On-prem VMWare and cloud virtual architecture/infrastructure
- VDI Optimization configurations and techniques
- Troubleshooting of all-levels of the Virtual environment
- Programming/Scripting/Database tools (PowerShell, Visual Basic, MS SQL, or others)
- Networking (Communication protocols, routing, subnet masking, ports, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, proxy, virtual networks)
- Strong Knowledge of End User Computing technologies:
- End user operating environments (Windows, MacOS, mobile)
- Productivity tools (Office 365)
- Systems management tools (SCCM, JAMF, Workspace ONE, Intune)
- Endpoint Protection (SEP, CrowdStrike, Defender, Tanium)
- Supportive knowledge of concepts, procedures, and techniques for using and supporting virtual End User Computing devices in an enterprise environment:
- Technology product lifecycle management
- Root cause analysis and data correlation analysis
- Vendor management
- Service management (incident/problem/change)
- Security compliance
- Strong listening, reasoning, facilitation, and objection handling skills
- Strong cross-team collaboration skills
- Strong organizational/interpersonal skills and possess strong time management skills
- Effective communications
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in End User Computing VDI engineering with strong operational support
- A four-year degree is preferred
- Experience in the financial industry is desired
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
