Our Oilfield Equipment Team is assembling and testing the latest products of oilfield equipment, which is beating heart of our work. We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative completion tools.

Partner with the best

You'll set-up and operate on special purpose equipment, conventional (lathe/mill), and/or numerical control (NC) machines and machining-centers. You're responsible for fabrication of metallic/nonmetallic parts that hold to the high quality machine standards required. You'll be working with a collaborative team in an innovative, high-technology facility.

As a Machinist, you will be responsible for:

• Work within close tolerances to perform adjustments and measurements assuring proper alignment of machine and parts, etc.
• Apply CMM tool to inspect parts to ensure conformity to requirement.
• Perform critical dimensions recording and machining mapping.
• Assist Support Team in carrying out tool performance evaluation as well as testing of new program and new cutting tool.
• Conduct machine tool preventive maintenance, as well as implement good 5S auditing.
• Implement new machining technology to reduce machining costs.
• Participate in process continuous improvement
• Conduct trouble shooting of machining variances.
• Have capability knowledge and skill to operate 2 to 3 machine software function for milling or turning processes.
• Assist support team in the routine process to optimum the machining process.
• Assist fixture team in carrying out fixture performance and rigidity evaluation as well as testing of new fixture design and clamping method.
• Participate in improvement project and implementing in lean Manufacturing.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Secondary Education / ITE / Nitec / Diploma with at least 2 to 3 years working experience in milling / turning machining industries.
• Basic knowledge on Siemens /Fanuc / Mori Seiki / Tosnuc / Mazak / Mori Seiki machine control. Basic knowledge of machine software application with basic analytical skills in dealing with machining variances.
• Good communication and interpersonal skill.
• Able to work on different shift hours.
• Good team player

• Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4.45pm/4.30pm - 1.15am
