We are currently in the process of expanding our pool of Localization QA Coordinators and are looking for professional, experienced candidates to become members of our growing global team.
The LQA Coordinator (MOBA) role, based in the Singapore office, is responsible for coordinating tasks and workload for a the team of SEA Linguists, who will be testing the publishing content for MOBA games, as part of their job scope.
The LQA Coordinator will have an important role in project-related communication with the client and other relevant external and internal stakeholders, as well as coordinating with the Localisation Linguist Lead, in-house PM and Team Manager to assure that all team is synched-up in producing at maximum efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Create or oversee the creation of internal documentation.
- Gather specific customer requirements (e.g. best practises, processes guidelines, use of client’s tools).
- Participate in regular internal meetings (e.g. leadership meetings, weekly LQA meeting, etc.).
- Support the Team Manager in presentation, proposals and meetings with the client, adapting the work plan to the requirements of the client and stakeholders, and giving detailed feedback to timely and efficiently proceed with any necessary corrective actions/changes/improvements.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis, manage expectation and keep communication flowing at any time.
- Develop project plans and associated communications documents.
- Identify opportunities and spearhead initiatives to continuously improve service and process under industry specific requirements.
- Provide coordination and efficiency in quality assurance processes, project planning and performance/personnel issues to the Team Manager.
- Assess need for resource coverage and initiate the appropriate requests with Testing Department, if necessary, during project cycle.
- Support the Team Manager in people management tasks (i.e. hiring, advise on performance reviews and performance feedback).
- Support the Localisation Linguist Lead and Project Manager in team workload’s assessment.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members.
- Involve in recruitment process, attend interviews to re-fill talents for specific languages.
- Take responsibility for personal learning and training needs and effectively apply business specific technology and methodologies.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Business, Translation, Computer Science or Games Development
- Direct work experience in a Localization QA capacity, including all aspects of publishing development and testing execution.
- Familiarity with CAT tool software, such as memoQ.
- Competent and proficient understanding of website testing and localisation processes.
- Technically competent with various software programs, such as Microsoft Office.
- Proven highest standards of customer satisfaction, while being deadline driven.
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

Additional Information
- This is a 1-year contract (renewable) position.

- Working Hours: Monday to Fridays, 10am to 7pm
