Responsibilities
Assist Management Team in ensuring that the company functions in a legal and ethical manner while meeting its business goals. Develop and implement a risk & compliance program that is in line with the relevant laws and regulations including but not limited to the Personal Data Protection Act, Employment Agencies Act, Workplace Safety and Health Act, Employment Act, Employment of Foreign Manpower Act and Central Provident Fund Act. Draft, review and manage all new and existing commercial contracts such as the client services agreements, NDA, partnership, joint ventures, shareholder and commercial leases and contracts. Participate and provide input for tender requirements evaluation meetings. Provide briefing and guidance / advisory to the business operations team on the client and tender agreement requirements. Work with Heads of Departments to conduct assessments of Business Operations to determine compliance risk. Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses, gaps and risks. Create and manage effective action plans and advisory to the Management Team in response to audit discoveries, compliance risks and violations. Conduct trainings on the latest legislations requirements that are relevant to the business. Report to Head of Finance and Compliance and take direction from the Management Team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in law, business management, or a related field.3 – 5 years’ proven experience in a Legal & Compliance officer role.Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.Brilliant oral and written communication skills.Benefits
