Supply Chain Assistant Manager

• Understand customer requirements and order forecast.
• Create plan and coordinate with business partners to ensure smooth and stable supply to minimize risk of business interruption.
• Ensure supply continuity & stock availability through effective procurement and inventory management.
• Supervise and monitor warehouse management to ensure smooth material in/out flow process.
• Identify potential improvement in purchasing and logistics process and drive the transformation.
• Vendor management, including review and assessment of new vendor's qualification, contract negotiation, appraisal of approved vendor's performance, and improve supplier performance in time of delivery and quality.
• Evaluate and negotiate with system suppliers based on the specific requirement. Present the comparison matrix in terms of cost, capability, and proposal of selection.
• Evaluate the sourcing from oversea country and present risk and opportunity for cost saving.
• Continue improvement to source for more competitive/alternative materials to drive down cost.
• Support purchasing activity when needed.
• Involve in operating output and material simulation for all projects on monthly basis.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the line manager

Requirements

• Diploma/ Bachelor's in Supply Chain or relevant
• At least 3 years' similar experience

• Successfully perform “Main Responsibilities/Critical Tasks” items as per described above
• Strong Leadership, Ability to take decisions, Independence & capability to adapt to team structure getting request from multiple stakeholder
• Strong communication and negotiation skill as senior buyer
• Structured & well-organized following Project deadline and deliverables and respectful of project deadlines
