What are we looking for?

The successful incumbent will provide expert advice and guidance, enabling and influencing decision making in a “startup” environment, thus a highly driven self-starter.

What will be your key responsibilities?

The successful candidate will be responsible for 4 key tasks:

• Lead the Accounting and Reporting for MVH Asia and be the bridge with MVH International global as well as Mars Inc corporate finance team, especially in acquisition related accounting

• Liaise with the Senior Accountants in the Hospitals/Clinics to drive performance and build a finance team capable of providing reliable accounting, reporting and control,

• Integrate the Accounting, Reporting and Controls of the VCA Japan business into MVH Asia, (new responsibility of MVH Asia team)

• Support the Regional CFO on finance transformation projects.

• Serve as the Finance Accounting & Reporting Asia Lead, providing financial advice to ensure sound financial and operational decisions, especially on acquisition related matters.

• Liaise as the regional go-to with global Technical Accounting, global Reporting teams to ensure Mars compliance, while representing Asia needs.

• Effectively lead, support and develop the MVH Asia finance team such as the Financial Shaping Process and target setting, liaising with different functions and management. Ensuring financial plans are fully aligned to the strategic direction and aspirations of the business.

• Integrating VCA Japan in the MVH way, including financial reporting, governance and controls.

• Establishing and standardizing the accounting function and payroll.

• Management of the forecasts, reporting, controlling and auditing processes. Develops and implements process improvements to ensure financial processes are effective and efficient

• Acting as a key contact for the group to analyze financial reports to identify real or potential problems and recommends corrective action to management.

• To ensure appropriate compliance and internal control mechanisms are in place to meet corporate governance and risk management requirements.

• Develop a set of KPIs and business intelligence tools in cooperation with group finance.

• To monitor performance and constantly strive to add value and support to the organisation and business area.
