Role and Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity to join a new Training Centre in Singapore supporting the G650 program.
Purpose
Responsible to the Training Manager for the overall supervision and delivery of flight training activities in the G650 program
Responsibilities
- Communicating program standardization issues to the Global Program Lead, Training Manager and to the Local Instructor Pilots
- Develop, revise, maintain and improve the courseware in his/her program in coordination with the Courseware Department and the Global Program Lead
- Help the Training Manager in the development of Instructor pilots
- Motivate, lead and work directly with program IPs to continually improve product quality
- Work with the Training Manager and Global Program Lead to ensure the local program remains aligned with similar types in the rest of the network
- Be a point of contact to program IPs for facilitating program changes with the Fleet Chief
- Make recommendations for training device improvement
- Hold weekly Lead IP/Lead Tech meetings to assure the device is being maintained at the highest level
- Assist the Fleet Chief with the Change Management Process, as requested
- Coordinate and run regular program standardization meetings on a quarterly basis
- Advise Training Manager of all pertinent training device issues
- Assure the highest standard of delivery of client training according to qualification
- Maintain oversight at the Center level of program training materials and ensure appropriate revisions are promulgated through the update process
- Conduct periodic instructor assessments, as assigned
- Act as the primary Point of Contact with the Global Program Lead and local Instructor Pilots (IP) to assure the highest level of standardization
- Help ensure compliance to the policies and procedures as laid down by the Head of Training (HOT)
- Help ensure all assigned instructor staff are familiar with the TCOM, as well as corporate policies, procedures and regulations as promulgated by the HOT
- Assist the Training Manager, as required, to monitor client training folders to ensure they are properly documented and prepared prior to examinations/check rides
- 25% of working time is expected to be Lead Instructor duties. 75% of working time is expected to be Instructor duties.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Training Manager
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Possesses above average verbal and written communication abilities
- Demonstrates proficient computer skills and internet applications in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Internet Explorer
- Continuously drives toward process improvement and customer/client satisfaction
- Ability to focus and work in a fast paced 24/7 environment
- Readily accepts change and adjusts accordingly
- Maintains concentrated customer/client orientation
Experience
- Holds or held an Air Transport License/certificate, or equivalent
- 3000 hours or more total pilot time (!500 multi pilot hours mandatory)
- Previous experience as an instructor
- Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7 environment
- Training and operations career in aviation related business acceptable to regulatory authorities
