Job description
Direct the efforts of the product/process engineering function, including supervision of the engineers, setting up the NPI process, procedures and reports. Provides project and team leadership for the Product/Process Engineering Group and also will be responsible for evaluating, monitoring and providing high level guidance and leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of product/process Associate Engineers and Engineering Assistants to support complex server/storage system CTO/BTO operations.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities
- Design and develop technical procedures for customers.
- Provide technical support to Engineers/Technicians and customers to solve complex problems
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
- Provide technical documents written for product/process support and perform changes to the documents.
- Manages and coordinates activities of Product/Process Engineering Team.
- Support 5S and lean initiatives.
- Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or relevant field
- Server / Storage product experience a huge plus though not a must
- Ability to read and correlate schematic diagrams and layout drawings.
- Familiar with PDM and BOM structure
- Good knowledge in both SAP and SFCS
- Excellent in analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Must be a team player and highly motivated.
- Flexibility and ability to change priorities.
- Ability to multi-task with strong sense of urgency; ability to meet deadlines.
