Position Title: Sr. Technical Sales Rep, Flow REPORTS TO: General Manager, Beckman Coulter Life Sciences SEA POSITION SUMMARY: - Promote and sell the complete product lines of Research & Clinical Flow Cytometry (Instruments & Consumables) to customers directly in Singapore - Develop potential and maximum revenues of academic and clinical accounts through flow and centrifuge products in priority in Singapore - Explore and drive new business opportunities of Research & Clinical Flow Cytometry (Instruments & Consumables) in Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Brunei - Build competent & effective distributor channels for both research & clinical flow products in the above SEA countries in order achieve the annual sales targets and KPI ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: - Sell and drive business Research flow and Clinical flow products in Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Brunei in order to achieve sales target for both revenue and profit. - With strong academic background in cell research and able to deliver technical solutions of research flow cytometers to academic customers in terms of instrumentations and reagents - Promote clinical flow cytometry products through personal contact with diagnostic and pathology labs, laboratory personnel, purchasing staff and administrators. - Develop clinical & academic key accounts to reach their maximum potential by promoting the entire product range (at least centrifuges) in conjunction with assistance from other sales & product Specialists, logistic department, service department, and Senior Management. - Business development experiences in SEA - able to build competency & effective distributor channels in both clinical and research flow in above SEA countries Work with commercial marketing team to drive regional & local promotional activities Funnel management for direct sales and distributor sales on SFDC - Submit monthly report, activity plan and sales forecast on time. - Teamwork with other employees to achieve high level of customer satisfaction. - Implement and Support of related additional responsibilities assigned by direct manager. Participate and support in the quality system of organization. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Education: - Master degree or equivalent in Cell Biology or Biomedical field preferred Working Experience: - 10+ Years experiences in life sciences / lab testing industry preferred Required Skills / qualifications - Ability to manage key sales accounts with good communications with different levels of customers (end users, lab managers, PI / CEO) - Experiences in handling tenders and customer quotations/contracts in Singapore independently - Strong market senses and business knowledges in life sciences/lab test industry in Singapore - Experiences in sell products to or work in clinical, diagnostic, hematology, pathology labs - Ability to discover projects/opportunities in Singapore and SEA countries - Distributor management skills preferred especially in the above SEA countries - Good presentation skills - Good communication skills in English & Chinese - Strong leadership with good teamwork - Sales driven and target-oriented - Good analytical and troubleshooting skills - Fast learner with new ideas - Customer oriented - Positive attitudes and energetic - Confident in facing competitions - Resilience in changing business environments - Strong teamwork with different departments and across organizations - Self-disciplines with good time management and work independently Preferred Skills: - Experience of using flow cytometers and sorters - Experiences in cell-based assays - Experiences in immunotherapy or stem cell therapies - Working Experiences in or with MMC - Funnel management in SFDC - Business development & channel management in SEA - Embrace Danaher culture and adopt Danaher Business System tools TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: In long term, this position requires travel to SEA region (30%).
