REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager, Beckman Coulter Life Sciences
Position Summary:
Work closely with the field sales team to actively engage and nurture existing early stage sales opportunities with the objective to help accelerate the purchasing process of the buyer. This role will support business across several operating companies under Danaher, including Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, Sciex, Leica Microsystems
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Work closely with assigned field sales
- Nurture and progress multiple early stage 1 and stage 2 hardware sales opportunities
- Plan and coordinate daily activity to increase number of touch points with early stage funnel customers from assigned list
- Make daily call activity to enhance customer engagements
- Use appropriate sales material and information to answer customer's questions and help progress the sales
- Cover early stage hardware funnel opportunities for open territories to assist in keeping customers engaged
- Maintain accuracy of customer records in assigned CRM
- Qualify prospects to determine sales potential
- Build rapport with prospects and customers to generate new and retain existing business.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years experiences in sales, preferably within B2B business
- Highly motivated, success driven and passion for sales
- Self motivated with positive attitude
- Solid understanding of tactical sales skills and progressing customers through the buying cycle
- Proven ability and capacity to learn technical and complex information
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills leading to results
- Proficiency in MS Office, experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Diploma / Bachelor degree in life sciences related subject is preferred
