Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Interactive Design or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in coding and developing in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript/jQuery across multi-devices and browsers.
Familiar with design software and tools like, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Xd for converting mock-ups to codes
Comprehension of UIUX fundamentals (i.e., ability to think from users’ perspective and thereafter, improve sites based on pain points faced by users).
Ability to see through a project from start to completion, and to conduct testing on the different scenarios and carry out necessary debugging with IT team.
GitHub repository or any form of digital portfolio of past works are required for reviewing.
Responsibilities
Convert mock-ups to codes for implementation to websites.
Maintain sites’ usability (e.g., resolve front-end related bugs, propose ideas for improvements)
Assist the Marketing team with implementation of new features for sites, and work with IT team to see through the full cycle of development.
Codes must adhere closely to mock-ups provided with existing standards and guidelines (i.e., BEM naming of class names). It must also be written clearly with comments for ease of understanding among teammates.
Candidate must be proactive in improving the usability of sites, by resolving bugs that are found on live sites, taking the initiative to propose any improvements that could have a positive impact on users.
Ability to communicate clearly with Marketing team and IT team on requirements and expectations of new features. Getting the front-end codes done and collaborating with IT team to get back-end requirements done.
