Overview
Perform product loading and raw material unloading and blending activities to ensure that manufacturing operations run according to the established production specifications, schedules and targets while in compliance with safety, quality and environment standards.
Responsibilities

Operate valves and pumps to admit or drain specified amount of material, impurities or treating agents to or from equipment.

Operate drum ovens to heat drums.

Change cartridge filters.
-
Flush or clean equipment during grade change. Execute pigging of lines if required.

Draw samples of product or raw material for analysis in laboratory.

Perform cleaning and housekeeping to keep working area clean, organized and safe.

Patrol and inspect equipment to detect leaks or abnormalities.

Read, comprehend and follow written and oral instructions, rules, operating procedures and product recipes.

Use computer graphical interface to control Programmable Logic Controller or Distributed Control System (DCS) to monitor and control process parameters.

Activate pumps, agitators, blowers, or automatic feeding of material.

Load and Unload isotainers or drums containing hazardous and non-hazardous material.

Isotainers to Tanks and vice versa

Isotainers to IBC or 200L drums and vice versa

Tanks to IBC or 200L drums and vice versa

Handle and charge solid material into tanks or hoppers.
-
Operate forklift to move IBC or drums around.
-
Perform incidental maintenance to troubleshoot process.

Prepare equipment in accordance to Permit-To-Work requirement during maintenance.

Perform Lock-Out-Tag-Out on equipment so as to ensure equipment is safe to be worked on.

Train new operators on job functions.

Reside as an active Emergency Response Team member.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Minimum Secondary Education in Mathematics and ChemistryAble to communicate, read and write in EnglishProficient in Microsoft Office applications, SAP and general computer knowledge
Physical Requirements:
Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Full-faced or Half-faced Respirator and Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus.
Work Environment:
Open structure with potential exposure to weather elements
