ABOUT THIS ROLE

  • We are looking for a self motivated, goal driven and positive intern to join our offline and device team to drive acquisition and device sales growth. This role also comes with the opportunity to put into practice multiple skill sets - account management, data analysis, communication skills, negotiation and brand building opportunities. The ideal candidate should possess energy and enthusiasm, along with the entrepreneurial drive needed to increase sales and improve profitability. S/he should be excited to communicate and establish good rapport with retailers, more than able to work in a VUCA environment. This is a 6 month to 12 month internship
  • Reporting to the Singapore Growth Lead (Jeanette Wong) and working directly with the Device and Alternate Channel Lead (Sharine Teo) the successful candidate will take ownership of a number of strategic initiatives, such as (but not limited to) stakeholder management, sales negotiations and new channel explorations
  • S/ he will be expected to manage our devices shop: perform inventory management, run promotional campaigns, identify product improvements and ensure these are implemented. Additionally, the candidate will also need to perform some competitor analysis to ensure we offer the most relevant products/offers to our customers.
  • This is a group level role based in Singapore

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Device Growth and Operations:

  1. Maintain the our phones shop: ensure adequate phone inventory and coverage, track phone purchases, analyse any fluctuations in traffic/sales volume

  2. Analyse the customer purchase journey and generate ideas to: improve traffic to our phones shop, increase conversions and most importantly provide the best customer experience

  3. Plan out sales campaigns, conduct customer surveys to gather feedback and generate ideas for any improvements needed based on feedback collected.

  4. Other ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed by the team"

Offline Channel and Partner Relations:

  1. Plan and carry out all the sales activities of assigned accounts. Daily store visits and provide knowledge through in store training.

  2. Build good relationships with offline retailers and ensuring customers satisfaction on company product and services

  3. Schedule sales activity, prepare and follow up sales activities plans and strategies. Conduct product training to the retailers, gather sales feedback and perform quality checks on product and services delivery

  4. Carry out market research and surveys, analyse and monitor market competitors activities, generate findings and reports to management

  5. Other ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed by the team"

Execute operational tasks independently through collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and stakeholders, as well as external partners.

Deliver insights and recommendations through a well-thought and structured research, analysis and business case thinking. This is a great opportunity to deliver impact; a great output may directly or indirectly shape the decision of the business.

  • Prior internship experience, ideally in a rapidly growing, fast pace environment
  • Strong aptitude for problem-solving, decision making and troubleshooting complex issues with the ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Be comfortable with going out of your comfort zone, seizing opportunities to learn and grow at a much faster pace
  • With an entrepreneurial spirit, and the grit, resilience and resourcefulness to overcome obstacles
  • Ability to collaborate across functional teams and communicate complex ideas clearly
  • Have a digital mindset and passionate about disrupting the future
